I nailed that parallel parking bloody good right on the first try! and I got Jeff again (the same one that gave me problems before) anyways I got that car right in there and he goes "Right on the first try. Good job" I was like "wow..I did it." then I forgot to look in 1 mirror and started driving. I went around town, then there was two cars ahead of me at the light. By the time I got passed the crosswalk the light turned yellow and I couldn't stop right in the middle of the road so I had to keep on going.
Ol' Jeff failed me because of the first error on my part and the second there wasn't anything I could have done..
I pulled into a parking space right beside the drivers center and he goes "I'm going to give you another chance." (that's a polite way to say I failed) "Come in any time after 7 days. Now, that cone isn't going to kill you. But a car could! You should have looked in that left mirror, and you didn't put your turn signal on in time. If you were going slower than the speed limit you would have plenty of time to stop without having to go through the yellow light." (Number 1 I was going the speed limit which is 25 mph. He wanted me to go 20 or slower. And there was no way I could have stopped at that yellow light because it was still green when I hit the white on the crosswalk. Then if it was yellow I would have stopped before then.)
I was like "come on do it for Tobz,Griffin,J, Talon, and Calamity. I can do this. They are all behind me 100%..I can do it..for them. For myself too.
Well you guys were there for me, I just didn't pass this time.
Jeff told my dad just what I told you guys. But he said this too "She will probably pass next time." My dad said that Jeff could have passed me, he just didn't. He's trying to "play the role" he acts like an @$$ hole but also because driving isn't a game. It's a responsiblity. Like..God forbid what if Jeff did pass me and I wasn't ready? Go out and kill myself or someone else on the road. Then it would be Jeff's fault also because he passed me when I wasn't ready.
This situation I WAS ready I just made a couple mistakes that had costed me.
I hope I get Jeff again next time I'd be like "I can do this. You can give this to me hard well I can give it to you twice as hard!" I'll get it next time. In two weeks.
Thanks guys for believing in me. I'll get it. I cried but not as much as I did last time.
OH YEAH! I forgot to say that my dad was watching from the door way just to see how I was doing and he said I did an awesome job. He was so proud of me he said. And then there was a kid and a guy watching me too. The kid goes "she did it! she did it!" (watching me parallel park) and the guy goes "See? she did it. You can do it too."
My dad said even though he didn't know them he still felt that the kid had been relieved of some nervousness. He had his turn after me.
I hope that kid passed. I really do.
